Dive into a magical week of nonstop fun at our Mermaid and Shark Camp! Designed for kids ages 8–12 who are new to artistic swimming or have participated in our recreational program this past year, this full-day camp gives swimmers the chance to swim like a mermaid or shark using specialty tails in the water. Along the way, campers will be introduced to artistic swimming skills, explore basic figures and teamwork, and even learn a short routine to show off their new moves on the last day of camp. With a mix of water time, land training, creative crafts, games, and plenty of laughs, this action-packed week is sure to make a splash and create unforgettable memories.

Swimmers should be able to swim two widths of the pool independently. 

Camp runs Monday, August 17–Friday, August 21 from 9am-5pm at Centennial Pool in Burlington.

Please note that there is no before or after care available.

A short term membership with Ontario Artistic Swimming is mandatory to participate.  Approximate cost of $7.00.  If a membership with OAS has not been purchased previously for the current 2025-2026 season, it must be obtained prior to start of classes in July.  The link to registration will be sent out a few weeks prior to the first class.
